SAP TM transport emissions reporting from shipment exports
LogisticsAI can work with exported CSV or XLSX shipment data from SAP TM when the fields needed for emissions calculation and quality review are present.
Choose the right SAP TM business record
SAP TM distinguishes freight orders for road and rail from freight bookings for air and sea. Begin with an export your team is authorised to use. Keep the freight-order or booking ID, mode, date, stops and load beside each row. Do not assume one booking equals one physical transport leg.
Test the export before mapping
Inspect a small, redacted file for missing distances, weight units and duplicated references. The LogisticsAI CSV check can inspect headings; a road-freight trial can estimate a few supported rows. Neither step connects directly to SAP TM or replaces its planning and execution records.
How this fits your work
- Audience
- Teams using SAP TM exports for customer, procurement, or sustainability reporting.
- Problem
- Shipment data often exists in operational systems, but emissions workflows need consistent mapping, assumptions, and artifact outputs.
- What LogisticsAI can do
- LogisticsAI maps exported shipment data, reviews quality gaps, calculates transport emissions, and packages evidence artifacts.

Frequently asked questions
Can I validate an export first?
Yes. Use the CSV validator to check likely fields before creating a workspace.
What if data is missing?
Missing data can be flagged and sometimes estimated, but assumptions should remain visible in the evidence pack.
